Refuelling problem with my 2012 Cali 30

    I have had my Cali 30 from 2012, 2 weeks now and tested at least 8 different gasstations.
    Everytime I put on gas it stops after 10 seconds. Its as if it it cannot absorb the gasoline as fast as it comes in. Takes me about 15-20 mins to re-fuel :-( feels like an hour...

    Does anyone have experience with this ?

    Mine did that as well but read here on Fchat to turn the nozzle/handle sideways and it worked. Now it stops 3 sec in but then once I press the lever to restart to fuel it fills up without stopping. Once it stops when you’re full, don’t top it off like you might do in a regular car.

    My experience and solution as well. Put the handle between 8 & 9 o’clock start slow then speed it up after 5 to 10 seconds. I can never squeeze it to the max but pretty fast, ie 2nd click is possible.

    My Cali did it . Was totally frustrating , until I found the sweet spot . Sometimes an attendant would try , just to fail and I'd have to get out and take care of it...

    Ditto. I do the same. It's one of the quirks of Ferrari.

    Hi,
    My previous Cali 30 did it.
    Just engage only around the first 3 cm of the nozzle (just needed to open the gas valve) & it was 100% ok for me.

    This could also well be a filter issue. There's some kind of filter canister that can get clogged up. Happened to my Cali 30 and was replaced under warranty. Prior to replacing the canister you couldn't do better than trickle gas into the tank no matter what angle or how deeply inserted the nozzle. Replaced the filter canister and all better.
