    It´s all a matter of money. I like the air scoops honestly, just the rear wing and the modified rear hood is a no go! I would buy a set of original wheels for storage but drive it with this wheels.

    hi,
    yes it possible but the parts and labour are not cheap.
    sourcing an original standard exhaust system will cost between 60,000 - 100,000 euros
    standard set of wheels & tires - 15,000 euros
    replace rear clam with spoiler unit - depending the way you do it - 25,000 - 75,000 euro
    remove air ram induction - replace with standard - depends how much of original has been removed - this could be surprisingly expensive 40,000

    it looks like the bottom corner read out on the LED dash is not working - that can be 12,000 euro to repair.

    but without complete inspection who knows what else has been done - engine mods, ecu changes, brake system, suspension setup????

    It's all possible, but does the additional cost put you in the marketplace of an original unmolested car? I would say very close on what we can see, its the unknown that is going to be the big difference.

    Then you are still left with a relatively high mileage F50 with a rebuild history - and ask yourself, why were all these modifications done in the first place? I can't imagine it has had the most easy life.

    it looks to be also missing the original tools sets, original standard supplied 3 piece luggage, circus box, canopy hood, the unique torch - the F50 was a highly accessorized car when it was new from the factory - all these item now cost a small fortune to replace.

    this invoice could keep growing and growing

    The above photo of 103496 was taken when the car was being driven by Ian Hetheringon in the Pirelli Maranello Ferrari Challenge Championship.
    The car actually won the championship in 2000.

    When Henn acquired the car, he wanted to continue racing the car. To do so in the US, he had to install a roll cage, which was done by Gunnar Motorsport in late 2001.

    Anything can be returned to original specifcation.

    Very true Mark, in fact I estimate that it would cost you at least @ 350,000 Eu plus to properly & completely return this F50 to it's former glory, and I would recommend the car goes back to Ferrari SpA's Classiche to carry out the rebirth.

    I'm not sure most enthusiasts fully grasp the extent & effect of molestation that is sometimes bestowed upon these cars, lamentably in the name of modifications to suit some individual's less-than-impeccable taste.

    These cars are automotive art which deserve to be preserved as a nod of respect to Enzo Ferrari and all the artisans who made them, IMO if you feel the irresistible urge to modify and commit automotive vandalism, buy a hot rod!

    You can see from the images Marcel posted above that it was removed.
