3133 per year is a lot more than 1117 per month. Sounds like first grade math to me!

    What are you not understanding?
1117 is NOT per month...it is the TOTAL death rate thus far.
We are past peak and the data STRONGLY suggest will will never reach a number as high as 3133 thought the rest of the year.
Thus car accident deaths will be > COVID deaths in Florida.

In France I cannot even go to where my Ferrari is parked because of current restrictions... the plan is to have the rules relaxed on May 11th, I'll go to look at it then but will not have a chance to drive it for at least one more week :(

You neglected to take into account all the people who went to the hospital from car accidents and were declared covid19 deaths.

I'm out almost every day for drives including runs with 10+ cars every weekend, no issues at all. Bought my 488 Feb 4th and have put almost 2k miles on it, then another 600 or so on Lotus. I'm in MA where we do have a stay home "advisory" and my town has a lock down but are allowed to go out for essentials, I buy my essentials one at a time

Truth be told, driving on deserted public roads is probably once in a lifetime experience. You either seize it, or you don’t. No second chances. And if you’re not at risk of infection or of infecting others, I honestly see no harm other than having an unforgettable blast.

    Kind regards,

    Nuno.

Our weekend home is in a wooded area with superb driving roads all around and nearly non-existent traffic. I use my 488 whenever I can throughout the day and will take it for the occasional shopping trip just to enjoy the car. As someone above said, a great tool for engaging mindfulness when nothing else will work. Way better than therapy and more effective. (Fellow in the next town over was just stopped for doing 142 in his Audi S8. Just a ticket.)

Must be nice. 15mph over the speed limit in NC can be considered a felony traffic violation. It’s solely up to the discretion of the LEO. I live in mortal fear.

it would just look very bad if I drive a fer
because I am in Los Angeles... and I don't want to wake up early... and driving ferraris to work in hospital during this time really looks bad.

I hear some police speed traps (in the EU) can’t accurately read license plates if you pass them by at above 250kph. I sure hope that’s true, or one day I’ll be logging in just to ask if any of you kind gentlemen could please put forward my bail money :D

In the 458 (and valid for any recent Ferrari), when time comes to shift up from 6th to 7th, you’re doing roughly 285 kph. We all have one foot in prison. Might as well have fun.

    Kind regards,

    Nuno.

I drive my 458 every day. I told my wife Ferrari Therapy. In Maryland the police are not doing traffic stops, and traffic is down, so it is close to a private track on the highways. In fast lane better do 90 or you will be passed.
