It 's a 312P Coupé. You're correct, it shouldn't be in this thread.

1022 before the Fuji International Golden Race (200 miles Fuji GP), won by Corrado Manfredini and Giampiero Moretti. It was the first ever win for a Ferrari in an international race in Japan.
Note exterior door hinges and perspex covered cockpit air ventilation in the roof.

How does one see anything out of that rearview mirror in the berlinetta? I remember Dario Franchitti mentioning the spider's mirror was very hard to see, but there was an opening. How does it happen in the closed car? Periscope?

All 512 S had mirrors on the front wings for the first two races in 1970 (Daytona, Sebring). For the following races these mirrors were removed, except for two or three private cars. Too much vibration maybe ?

Only a few pictures of #1002 exist with the "Hornes" publicity on it. Here at the Flying Mile record with Derek Bell at the wheel, 27th of April 1977, on the Concorde test runway at RAF Fairfield, Gloucestershire, UK

And here #1002 in a rare "Pierre Cardin" outfit, racing at Goodwood in the 80's!
