Anyone have a bracketeer fire extinguisher bracket installed?

    With Dan, Mr Normal Guy Supercar having a small fire in the 430 he was fixing up the other day, it occurred to me I might want to add a small Halguard fire extinguisher to my car just Incase. $200 is a good investment for some piece of mind. I ordered the HG100C extinguisher in chrome, but now I need a bracket to mount it inside the cabin. I don’t want to drill holes or spend another $300 or more on a bracket so the Bracketeer looks like a good option.

    So if you have one installed on a 360 or 430, could you answer the following questions;

    Does it look like the has the potential to damage the seat or bracket?

    Is it easy to install/remove or do you suggest just leaving it in?

    Any feedback or thoughts on it vs some of the other solutions which also attach to the seat rails.

    Alternatively you could buy an Italian made Element Fire Extinguisher, do away with needing the bracket all together and just keep it in the glove box or door pocket

    I have a factory roll bar I am thinking maybe just maybe ?? This Image Unavailable, Please Login might be a good option no drilling easy removal and fast to get to for use ....

    Yes, I have one. It is easily removable and I don't see how it would cause any real damage beyond maybe a little nick on the seat rails if you torque it down where literally nobody will see it.

    I installed it as I had a bad fuel pump and gas smell/leak that got me scared. Pump is now replaced and piece of mind with the Fire Extinguisher. Its a bit in the way for the passanger but not bad at all.

    What about puckered air bag panel. Easy to fix yourself.

    There are several write ups on it. When I did my dash, the airbag was OK so did not remove it but it has been described. The glove compartment must be removed to get to the airbag module. Do remember reading that the battery MUST be disconnected.
