Don’t drink much tequila either but love the flavor. I keep a bottle of Padron Anejo on the counter for an occasional shot. Enjoy Cabo Wabo also. Have decent lesser ones for mixing. So many out there I should try.

Clase Azul Reposado. Great agave undernotes & very smooth to drink neat. Probably the only tequila I drink without using it as a mixer.

I shouldn’t let the cat out of the bag, Costco’s Anejo is excellent.

Just the name Cuervo has prevented me from trying this, but I’m sure it’s good.

Absolutely spectacular! The caramelized sugar cane is exquisite. Hard to believe it is soooooo good from Jose Cuervo. But $150 a bottle is a little steep, although it never stopped me from buying it.

If its good enough for my business partners in Mexico, who drink Louis XIII cognac on a regular basis, its good enough for me, I just go with the flow with Tequila as I admittedly know squat about it.

You know...I drink tequila a lot, over ice, and I found the new costco brand a little too sweet? no?

Also a Clase Azul Repsoado. I first tried it about fifteen years ago in Cabo and got hooked. Now I always try to keep a bottle on the shelf to savor. The only problem is making it last!!!

I live in Mexico 5 months a year. The hot tequila now, among the gringo community, is Don Julio 70. It is clear but extremely smooth (maybe even smoother that the Family Reserve pictured earlier). Mostly drunk straight over ice, sometimes with a squeeze of lime. Price went from about $26 a bottle to close to $40 in the first year. People still buy it. It is good!

Does it have the subtle flavors, ie. Vanilla, or is it like most clear tequila, lacking depth ?
