4 post lift repair, anyone?

My 10 years old 4 post lift acted up. There are 10 pulleys, 6 of them are under one of the runner. These pulleys have a 1-inch hole in the middle for the mounting pins. One set of pulley and mounting pin have worn against each other for some time and need to be replaced. The pin is pushed into its mounting holes and then wedged in place with a small tab. There is access only from the bottom hole, the top hole is blind. I understand that the pin should be tight, but not press fit tight.

Supposedly, the pin should come out with some persuasion. I am having some trouble with providing enough persuasion. I have already drilled, tapped, and inserted an M10 bolt for a slide hammer to persuade it out but it has not agreed to come out. It was past 6PM last night and I was paying respect to my neighbors by not banging on it too much. All bets are off at noon today (Saturday).

Has anyone done any repairs like this with a 4 post lift? I can use some ideas.

I have Oxy torch, MAP gas torch which I have not tried.
I also have an air hammer (cheapy version) which I can try after I drill an access hole from the top (so that the top hole is no longer blind).

 

Got it done but it was not fun.

 

I buy the parts from a place in Florida. Takes about a week. They have everything.

The long pins and pulleys at the foot of the columns are very easy to change.
The short pins and pulleys hidden inside the ends of the runners (front to back) are exceedingly difficult because they are pressed into a blind hole. I ended up using the long bolt and socket as a puller and it came out half way and got stuck, but enough for one pulley to come out. Then I used a cut off wheel on a grinder to cut the pin in halves and it all came out. Putting the new pin in was an exercise in banging.
