I have a 348 ts and presently have the engine out for maintenance. I have purchased a bushing kit for the rear suspension mounting points. What is the best way to unload the suspension to make disassembly less difficult ? Should I unwind the spring mounts to release pressure or is there a preferable method ? Thanks in advance, JGW

From memory not necessary. You can take them out as is.

Hope you have a press? Bushes are a hateful job otherwise!

I knocked out a lower shock bolt with a brass drift, but now the drift is pinched. I was thinking of relieving the pressure by winding down the spring purchases ? Are the drive shafts limiting the bottom suspension travel ?

You just undo the 4 top bolts and the whole thing should drop down as a unit. The lower bolt is also the sway bar endlink. I"m not sure how you got the drift pinched.
