Look who's home for the Pandemic!

Though still not quite roadworthy, I had my shop bring my car to me, so I can work on a bunch of little things while I am stuck at home.

First on the list will be some "de-Federalizing" (car was originally delivered to Italy)...

It has been many months since I last saw it, and I've never really had a chance to spend a long period going over it in great detail.

Still find that I'm basically pleased with it; though bummed to find that its antenna is not a Voxson (a random detail that I forgot to check when I bought it)... :(

Ferrari Daytona road test from 1972, it shows some great detail shots, it even shows a plexi glass car's tool kit close up, for all you tool kit fans.

Hi Steve yes thanks, initially I had my stereo on but then tried again with it off and the loudspeakers on the computer, a gem of a video with great sound for the period plus Mont Tremblant is a great circuit long enough for a Daytona to stretch its legs:)

This photo post 2137 was taken at Montmartre on the step of the Sacre Coeur Basilica, exactly on the same spot where the film c'etait un rendez vous ends...unrelated of course and this time no lady is waiting ;-)

I disagree, I think the “lady” looks quite lovely* patiently idling and waiting the driver to take her for another spin... ;)

    *Heavy/oversize hind legs notwithstanding

Auto Italia 2018. I know asthetics are less important than how fast it goes when it comes to racing cars, but I reckon it would look better with silver or gold wheels IMHO.

Found this recently a picture of me with the Daytona taken in the late 1970’s. I think the car has aged rather better although to be fair I’m an unrestored original.

I assume you’ve needed to take that jacket for re-fitting/-sizing alterations more than once since. :D
