I really love the amount of glass many old classics have versus their newer counterparts.

I love seeing the progression of a car model family over time.

The Porsche 911 is probably the most recognizable shape from the 1960s to 2020. The car grew substantially but the basic shape remains.

Ferrari mid-engine V8s are sort of like that from the 308 (actually starting with Dino shape) to F8. The curve in the front fenders and the air intake above the rear fenders is iconic (forgiving the 348/355 and stealthier intakes on 458).

Fluid and aero dynamics really reshaped the way cars look and are built, plus electronics. We all know that, but it’s really something when we see a picture of two Ferraris of different eras side by side. Love that kind of photos. Insightful. We’ve really came a long way!

    Kind regards,

    Nuno.

The older Ferrari has a certain "something".
Ignoring investment, I'd be torn which to drive daily.
Although the newer one may be more comfortable...a/c, suspension, wind noise et al.
If a purchase decision, have fun :)
