Has anyone done the Lake Michigan Circle Tour? Is it just scenic, with low speed through little towns, or is there some good twisties with room for spirited driving?
My son (races USF 2000) and I have 5 days in between race practices at la Crosse fairgrounds speedway and Blackhawk farms Raceway in South Beloit, and we want to do a road trip. Any other reccomendations welcome. Thanks!

Up by Lake Superior it is pretty interesting also. I went up to Marquette Michigan and drove all the way to Sault Ste. Marie, Canada. Several old light houses and very small towns along the way. Only recommended during summer from June-August unless you like huge amounts of snow :) Summer high temps average in the high 70's and the lake is beautiful. It's the closest place near here that you can go and be very far from civilization.
