Sounds like the usual one car to Monaco and two to Germany just before Christmas just as seems to happen with every new model
Earnings call today Camilleri suggested first deliveries after the summer but before the Roma towards the end of the year ie still targeting Q3
Haven't heard any new updates from London dealerships yet due to COVID-19. What spec did you end up going with?
Managed to get it in rosso Portofino. Matches the wife’s Portofino. Both sabia interior. So will both look similar. Full carbon outside and engine bay. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
That was fixed a while back. We got an our RP car about 12 months ago and since then have seen a few. From what I’ve picked up, no issues now.
Were you told what time delay you might have for RP as paint? I ask because I ordered Rosso Monza which might add some time.
Last I heard, there is now zero delay on all colours except for Rosso F1 2007 Sent from my iPad using FerrariChat
I believe so yes. Customer cars after August shutdown to get things moving after COVID-19. I was also led to believe that the Porto/Roma builds will be low priority until the V12 line and SF90 is back up to speed. Budďy of mine who's a level 2 client whom ordered a Porto last October just got word that his SF90 will probably be here by the end of Q3, and that was specced inlate Feb. He was told the Porto will be here late Q4... I'm guessing that ghe 812, SF90 and last Pistas are what's being prioritised when the Factory opens. No more delays on F1 2007 is the latest I got from the factory just before lockdown. Sent from my SM-G930F using FerrariChat.com mobile app
Indeed...My pista is Rosso F1 2007...Most Ferrari owners I know do not believe it is worth paying so much over the standard reds, but I think it is an unbelievable colour Sent from my iPad using FerrariChat
Something worth noting about F1 2007. It has changed quite a bit as they have made some changes to both the paint and the procedure. It does not look as good and deep as it used to. Case in point. My dealers personal La F is a great example of how good F1 2007 can look. It was of course painted about 5-6 years ago. Have seen some since, and they vary quite a bit, and some of them look almost brownish. At the atalier in March, they actually advised against it as it was not what it used to be. There was a Monza in the atalier in F1 2007, and it could almost have been mistaken for Rosso Fiorano. Would I have chosen F1 for a car five years ago? Sure. Now? No way.
Interesting comment. I’ve actually wondered if Bianco Fuji had changed over the years. Older models seem to have a warmer, richer hue. Oil vs. water based?
Nah. I think it was simply changed to save time and cost. AfaIk F1 2007 is still not a water based colour. Sent from my SM-G930F using FerrariChat.com mobile app
Thats only one person and contradicts what I've been told, i was just wondering if anyone else had any updates.....
If you don't share what you've been told it doesn't really encourage anyone to share with you does it !
