Between $26 and $40 / lb for beef, it's depend on where you buy
Because I completely forgotten one important things: I run out of mirabelle and impossible to find it in May :(
I know I post here (and I improve my level in english thanks to you :):)) and I never post any pictures of what I cook. As soon I can I do it :)

Wow. That's close to specialty beef prices here in the US - wagyu, dry aged, etc.

Steak, plums, cute girl - you really only need 1 of those for a successful dinner date! Forget the plums, do the steak, don't forget the wine!

Happy birthday to your pooch. The Princess is about 14 or so, we think. Twelve years this August we got her at the pound. She's a bit achy, and doesn't chase squirrels any more, but still a good appetite and loves riding in the cars.

    Best wishes for Molly...T

Pan frying on the grill. Schooling my parents on cooking streaks. I'll be using garlic powder though because mom doesn't have garlic.

Yep. And I forgot the pic. Both strips were almost a pound each. Long story short, started the pan on the grill but it wasn't getting hot enough. Then my dad mentioned the sear burner which I didn't notice, said it didn't work. Well it did work it just took me pushing the button all the way.

A little passed medium but both steak and fat melted in your mouth.

Cool. Sounds like a fun day @ home with Mom & Dad.

In the continuing spirit of keeping dinner simple and easy, I present - The Texas BLT.
The bread is a fresh baked (yes, fresh from a can! :D) baguette, B = bacon, T = tomato (found awesome slicing mater @ Kroger) , L = hot sauce (our lettuce is still a week or two away from harvesting). Sprinkle of pink salt on the mater. Served with a cuumber/tomato salad....T

And, that makes it all worthwhile.

Details on the Meyer lemon and broccoli. Wife is getting sick of straight up steamed broccoli, so I need ways to jazz it up.

Sauté in EVOO. Chalets, onion, garlic salt, pepper, crushed red pepper, and the lemon. All of the Meyer lemon, rinds and all. We have a couple lemons left.

Yes, those bags of broccoli from Costco are pretty huge.
