Prime rib down the hatch...………… Not as good as the butcher shops last week. But that was $93 for two bone in roast VS $54 at the grocery store for the same thing...……………………. Image Unavailable, Please Login

@tomc , I have the kofta kebob meat ground, mixed, and watched Guy F do some in Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives. He put it on some flat bread with the sauce which I’ll make with some almond yogurt and cucumbers.
    Thanks for the idea
I mixed leg of lamb and yak stew meat, all the spices and items in the recipe you linked, and a few extras. Yerba mate, fennel, chia flour and golden flax, tarragon, and turmeric.

Store bought...they always seem pretty darn good. Maybe someday we will be ambitious enough to try to make at home...

    Hallelujah!

Finally was able to get Indian food delivered. We both went nuts for this and ate like pigs that hadn’t been fed in a month, praising the yummy food while stuffing our faces...

...and yet, afterwards, we both realized and admitted that the food was actually meh at best...yet we loved it due to not being able to get restaurant food for 2 months...

We ordered enough food for 4-6 people, so we will be having it again tomorrow...

If reheated appropriately, grilled burgers are great. Did a large batch of them some time back at the end of fall, reheated and enjoyed them for the winter. I like to cover with a wet paper towel and then reheat on 50% power...T

Left over prime rib last night......………….. tonight I'm doing the burger special at Triple O's, but might do a bacon cheeseburger, instead of the burger on special.

Made charro bean dip yesterday to snack on for a few days with tortilla chips. Tonight I'll be making chicken parm again.

    Practice safe social distancing, Max!

Pork chops on the grill. Gotta figure out how to overcook the wife's while retaining a semblance of moisture in mine.

I try and make sure nothing goes to waste. I really hate throwing away food. Now we’re more aware than ever.

The most exciting cooking item of the day. Rose jam jelly. I was worried that the flavor would suffer given that I had to freeze and accumulate rose petals from our garden. But, I have to say, not bad.

This recipe with about a tenth of the sugar recommended.

House smells like roses. Nice tart and fruity flavor. Enjoying it on a slice of beer bread with dinner.

@arizonaitalian - please don't let Ania know that I took the cheater's way out and didn't grind it with sugar!
