    Has anyone painted the center (black) bumper section on their car? Saw a picture recently on fchat. I purchased a set of CF front wings and think that the hard line between the canard base and the black area will bug me. Since the bumper has to come off and my car is Silverstone, I was thinking about painting that section and wrapping the canards and new paint in expel, so I can forget about the inevitable chips and play down the color change between the parts.

    Anyone have pics to show?

    Great to see what this idea looks like in real life.
    The OEM look but with Ferrari Carbon winglets is still my favorite look.

    What color is that car? Not sure if I’ve ever seen it on a 458 but it’s very appealing.

    I have noticed that triple layer paint from Ferrari has that area in the front painted, as is my car Rosso Maranello

    Interesting. With RM, it’s such a great color that I like it wherever I can get it! I specter my RM 812 with a painted diffuser for that reason.

    I’m actually considering wrapping this front section and/or winglets. I’m wondering if anyone has done anything similar? Just seems easier than paint If I change my mind ‍♂️

    I have read that the black on the wings and the center section look lousy with clear wrap on them. That is one reason why I am painting the center and installing the CF canards.

    I have clear wrap on my CF canards. They look just fine. It has saved them from some nicks.

    I am still thinking about a colored or Matte black wrap over my center as it is currently the only thing on the front that does not have any protection.
