This may be sacrilegious, especially in the states, but V6's are my favorite sounding configuration.

Sound is subjective, whatever sound and configuration you like is the correct answer.

I really think that a V6 in a compact light mid engine car maybe with around 500hp would be an awesome setup ..
now on the other hand if they use it in a hybrid set up I would have to pass...

I should have learned by now not to project my personal fantasies on F's next model release. It's a recipe for disappointment.
That being said: small, light, V6, no hybrid, no turbo, no GPF, checks a lot of my boxes.
Sadly, I know it will never be made.
More likely it'll be like P's new electric, where you can have it with some e-motors or a lot of e-motors, and a loooota weight/complexity/planned obsolescence.
I'm getting too old for this ****.

Whatever the powerplant, I'm expecting one of those ugly gargantuan vents in the hood.

Hello, I've recently seen a video where a F8-like car went around Fiorano with what sounded like a turbo V6. Anyone knows what that could be? F8 replacement?

Try looking at some of the other related threads in both this and the 8 cylinder sections

3, 3rs and 2rs have been on my shopping list for many moon.
My problem is that I am so enamored of my 997.1 TT and it is so well sorted that I’m hesitant to upsize to the larger 991
I know, the answer is a 997 GT3 3.8... One of these days.
