Honestly, a little sad and disappointed to find out he's building it as a pro street drag car. Whaaaat? Don't get me wrong. Pro street is cool, BUT, using a Ferrari 250 GTO ???!!! One of the most beautiful and finest ROAD cars ever designed???
It deserves a V12 (doesn't have to be Ferrari) and to be driven ON THE ROAD! It's like going to a fine Italian restaurant and ordering a McDonald's burger. Good, but out of place. AND if you built it as a V12 ROAD CAR, it would be MUCH more VALUABLE! Of course you're car, do what makes you happy. I'll keep following regardless. Nice work.

He talks about it at around 3:30 . He has some good, detailed vids.

Thanks BJK, I know it's not everyone cup of tea, and I would have 300k in an original driveline... I would gladly build one for a client though!

Was building it as a pro street your original plan, or did your plans change due to cost?

I was searching for a v 12 and I could’ve put a Jaguar driveline in it, but for fun and affordability.. I’m just using what I have in my shop. At least for now.

Not fully up to speed on this build, but why not use a modern ferrari 12. Something out of a 550/575 wreck? Sure no small tickets...$30k?

    Hi John,
I have the project on hold for the moment. We are trying to get caught up on customer work. I am hoping to get back on the project very soon though.

Pay attention to the juxtaposition of the upper corners of the windshield and the side windows. This area seems to be the dead giveaway on many fakey-doos. Nice work.
