    I bet your wife/girlfriend was pissed about you using the dish washer :O) I can't talk, I used our oven to bake the wrinkle paint finish on my plenum... that went over like a "fart in church"! :O/

    i just popped in one of those deep clean tablets in after i'd finished with it :)

    IMHO I like to see a little bit of patina on a 30 plus year old part but that's just me.

    Regardless of what you do if you drive the car regularly the "patina" will come back pretty quick. It's only a mater of time.
