    Nooooooooooo, i'm talking about using painters tape on the fender, to secure the shield adhesive. I spoke to my Indy and he said it was OK. Thanks for asking!

    I have expel on my Pista ..use it when I spay amor all on door rubber molding. I would not leave It on too long to avoid the sticky residue. Expel is very tough.

    Xpel and Ceramic Coating are 2 different things...unless I am miss understanding your post.... I use to put painters tape on my GT3 with Xpel which is a clear bra...when detailing with zero issues. the car was also ceramic coated...did it myself and no issues.

    I have used it also with no issues...I’d you get the green vs blue tape even better as it is not as sticky.
