Surprising to hear that only 1% of the workers have tested positive for the antibodies to Covid-19.
Hopefully this a sign that in Maranello there wasn’t much spread of the infection, symptomatic or asymptomatic, in this locale.

In the hot spot Lombardy, herd immunity—people who had been infected and developed antibodies to the virus—was much much higher.

I saw that the Factory Antiboy testing reflects only a 1% rate of infection and recovery. This is a good sign in terms of indicating that Maranello has been spared high levels of Covid-19 infection. Hopefully Ferrari will remain safe as the factory opens again.

in the hot spot of Lombardy, where the infection was severe, antibody testing reveal a high silent herd immunity of 20%

    2020 or 2021? It is currently Q2/20?

I wonder if the Factory will take the usual August hiatus. Or perhaps a staggered vacation period with or some kind of a postponement Holiday approach.

If Italy has travel restrictions, the summer holiday might look like sheltering at home again.

I wish the factory and Ferrari Workforce the very best!

That sound sound surprising if it's 2020 as coupes have not been going out for long have they?

Wow, I'm surprised at that, my dealer was saying the spider would be delivered 1 year after the F8 Coupe so I signed up for both. It seems I have been lead up the garden path and better get on the phone with them tomorrow, no point in having 2 at the same time so will need to come up with an arrangement

During the earnings report yesterday, Ferrari CEO made that statement that F8 Spider deliveries would begin during Q2 2020. I would believe him over your dealer.

On tv hundreds of cars just sitting near the docks. Dealerships have no place to put them.

I'm certainly in agreement with you on that given the dealer has given me the wrong information

Wonder if that is in reference to US deliveries as well.

This made me laugh. I’ve never owned a red/tan Ferrari although I admittedly did the next most laziest thing by ordering it in the launch colour of giallo triplo strato with silver forged wheels. The shape begs for a triple layer paint - especially the front end.

+1 so curvy it needs metallic and pearls. I've seen two in rossa Corsa and one giallo fly and it's not as exciting as even argento.

With. It’s there to create a visually shorter hood which looks more correct/better in my opinion.

Yes to the horse on the headrest however I chose Daytona race seats with yellow stitching. I think I see why they skipped the stitched yellow crest on this example - the yellow centre stripe is dominant so having a yellow prancing horse perched above it could be seen as yellow overkill and look busy.

Triple layer paints really work on areas with sharp curves/radii, transitions to vertical surfaces and undercuts. The nose of the F8 epitomizes this.

For this reason, I find the value of such paints are greatly diminished on the SF90 where I’d likely go with a non-metallic since it has more gentle curves and vast planes of bodywork with very little in the way of sharp creases.

Got this from my salesman the first week of the factory re opening:

We have been ramping up with the suppliers for two weeks now and started the lines as of Monday with full on production scheduled for next week. The good news is that Ferrari SpA is working straight through their national holiday in August to make up for the lost two months

Ferrari is a company that prides itself on innovation. It is used to adapting to new challenges.I’m sure they will navigate and find the optimal ‘new-normal’ way to succeed.
