Mr. Michelotto has confirmed that this car was NOT built by their renowned shop in Padova and has nothing to do with them.
It must have been privately converted. I do not know by whom/which shop. Who knows more?

This car, #119339, was driven by former Ferrari F1 driver Ivan Capelli and Eric Prinoth at Monza April 2000. 100% recently confirmed by Henry T. Kisler who was at Monza and identified/documented #119339's chassis and assembly number and wrote the article appearing in Aug/Sept 2000 Cavallino. Mr. Kistler identified #119339 as one of the 4 FIA GT cars. Agreed that it was not prepared for Monza by Michelloto but instead most likely by a local Italian shop. Why do you state it would not be eligible for official Ferrari Club Competizioni GT events?

I never said something about the history, I don’t know.

BUT, it is NO Michelotto built car, NO N-GT, simple.

It is a modified 360 Challenge car, not more not less and that’s the simple reason why it’s NOT eligible for the Club Competizioni GT!

Isn't a Michelotto built car also a "modified 360 Challenge car" ? Would it be eligible for the Club Competizioni? I would also argue that being driven at Monza by former Ferrari F1 driver Ivan Capelli sets it apart from a "normal" 360 Challenge. I admit bias since this is my car.

I have read somewhere (so no first hand observation) that this was done by Gottifredi.

What I don't get is that the car was first "lightly prepared in early 2000 to campaign in the European FIA GTR championship race series" and then returned to a standard Challenge car since Prinoth was participating in the Italian Challenge series?

This car has been offered around for some time with lots of anecdotes, but nothing of substance to support its history. As stated above by many it most certainly is not eligible for Club Competizioni GT events.

And most importantly it was NOT built by Michelotto.
I really don't understand why sellers or their agents continue to try to fool people.

It's funny you mention that Marcel because I watched their video of that car last week and thought to myself that doesn't even look like an N-GT.

119339 participated at least once in an official FIA N-GT race, BUT 119339 in NOT built by Michelotto, indeed.

According to racingsportcars and as shown in a video on youtube (see below) 119339 was driven by Pinoth and Capelli in the 2000 Monza FIA GT in the N-GT class. The Monza 2000 FIA GT was the first GT with N-GT cars participating (the N-GT class has been established in March 2000 only). Ferrari homologated the Ferrari 360 Modena model for the N-GT class in March 2000 (see attached pdf below).

In parallel with 119339, the JMB Ferrari 360 SN119073, the first 360 N-GT modified by Michelotto, also participated in the 2000 Monza FIA GT. While 119073 was developed later to what people would consider as a “typical” 360 N-GT, 119339 had a less prestigious fate.

Based on this, 119339 is definitely an N-GT car. 119339 is even a very special car, as it is one of only 3 Ferrari 360s that participated in the very first FIA N-GT race in Monza after the official homologation of the 360 Modena for the N-GT group by Ferrari.

Racingsportcars says that 119339 has been tuned by Gottifredi. I’m unfortunately unable to find out more about what has been done and by whom to tune the car for Monza in 2000. I would appreciate any inputs regarding the Gottifredi tuning or the Supertech team.

It ran in Monza 2000 FIA GT driven by former Ferrari F1 driver Ivan Capelli, what else does do you believe is need to be eligible for Club Competiziioni?

This is what a N-GT looked like in April 2000
