All, I am reassembling my motor after an engine out...does anyone recognize where this heat shield goes? It has only one hole for a bolt. It is not the one underneath the main crankshaft wheel. I am thinking it is the water sheild/protector for the large electrical connectors which allows the engine removal through large size diconnects. Here is a pic from an old thread, the sheild just behind the red connector?
I think that it fits in between the chassis and the exhaust manifold on the RH side of the engine. Image Unavailable, Please Login
