Ok, Dave, before you walk away.....how did you do your front license plate bracket? Your set of images was very nice, but the "required front license plate" caught my eye. My 1980 is far from cruising the streets but attaching a front plate will be a nice problem to have in the future.

Nothing terribly fancy, really. Just cut a piece of aluminum angle, and drill some holes.

I hated to drill the bracket mounting holes in one of the front grille slats, but these slats are so close together that you really have to hunt to be able to see the holes once the angle bracket is removed.

I believe the car only has 1 pininfarina badge. A bit like an artist signing their work. I wondered this myself when I first saw only one badge.

I have NO Pininfarina Badge on Either Side.

The CARFAX and car itself shows ZERO SIGN of an Accident, or a Repaint anywhere. NO bondo or lead to 'fill holes,' either.

I am 100% Convinced it NEVER had the Pininfarina Badge on it. There are NO holes in the bodywork for the OEM Badge of that time frame to go.

Just one of the many small 'quirks' of these 'Assemblyline' BUT Handmade cars.

    Each one IS in-fact Unique.
