Should have just bought what you really wanted to begin with, a Lamborghini.
I kid I kid...Wrapping seems to be such a modern YouTube cliché Lamborghini a culture thing that’s all
Thanks guys. I had 10 months to think this over and admittedly I was nervous of the outcome but I'm very happy with the way it turned out. I'll keep this for awhile then go for something different. Maybe lucky charms. lol Image Unavailable, Please Login
There's a chop shop here in my city that will radius the fenders and quarters for 22" wheels. I can give you their phone number if you like.
Good god. Horrific. Bless Enzo's memory. I'm sure he's rolling in his grave now. Just begs the question, why?
Come on guys, the car is only wrapped! I like it! And I like the passion Eric puts into his F430, I like the way he deals with the car and I like the results (except the rear wing ). That "thing" looks impressive and at the same time ugly, somehow an exciting mixture. If this car would stand at a car meeting, I would want to look at it from very close, would take pictures of it and then I would absolutely want to talk to the owner about his ideas, thoughts and experiences. Let me say the following; Eric is more passionate about his F430 than most Ferrari owners! Because how many call themselves "enthusiasts", in fact, they put their little horse in the garage, wipe twice a week with a polishing cloth over the car, carry it on velvet paws twice a year 500m through their residential area (because people should see that one owns a Ferrari) and hope that the Ferrari miracle of an increase in value will come true. IMO that's disgusting.
Heck, if they were paying me for it, I'd put a Vagisil wrap on my car....yet that short lived trend of putting skittles, cereal, whatever on cars for the heck of it. Never "got" that one myself. A better question...why not? It's a wrap, not a paint job.
You’re right, but it certainly doesn’t account for taste. To each their own, I suppose. I’m a purist. This sort of thing makes no sense. But, it’s his car and he can do ask he wishes.
This is the sort of thing that makes no sense to me. https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/threads/2015-458-speciale-aperta-delivery-miles.621761/
The car or the spec isn't really my cup of tea, but what's your issue with it? If I were in the market for a Speciale Aperta, and the spec appealed to me, I would be thrilled to come across this car, and I would be thankful the owner kept it in this condition.
IMO there is no difference between wrapping your 430 in camo and an owner who polishes their car with clean velvet diaper weekly. They're both Ferrari owners or "enthusiasts" to use your term with different perspectives, but owners nonetheless.
There are lots of articles out there (Hot Rod Magazine for one) that have done the wrap experience in an effort to see how easily these wraps come off when you tire of them. Most end with removal and some sort of paint damage in various areas in as little as two years on the vehicle -- and the Hot Rod Article was an experiment on an OEM painted, not touched up or a repainted car. Just saying, if you think it's only a wrap what can it hurt... be prepared. Simple removal is a myth.
