i remember speaking to maserati rep at a car show few yrs back and he said it would be electric. might be better business decision than a typical v6tt
The MC20 will debut with a modified version of the Alfa Quadrifoglio V6 putting out 600 + HP, a hybrid version will follow 700+ HP? Chassis is claimed to be designed to accommodate a fully EV power.
Here is one video posted a few pages back of what sounds like a V8 normally aspirated engine. Also a video of the MC20 that sounded like a V6 turbo, not electric. I highly doubt most Maserati enthusiasts would prefer an electric over an ICE motor due to the lack of sound. The "new" customers they might get might prefer electric.
