    torque for those screws?
sorry, have to smile now. use a mechanic learning book and have a look at the standard torque for 6 mm nuts/screws
for such nuts/screws I never used a torque wrench
when you work on such an engine you may have basic knowledge. and when I read what you do on this engine you have this knowledge. so I wonder why you ask

    Hi Romano,
    Some basics covered --not this.:D

I am just a designer (styling) by trade. I am always learning and creating. I admit I don't know this basic mechanical information but I do want to learn.

Use a short handled 1/4” drive ratchet with one hand holding it near the head and make it ‘good and snug’ with a firm, but not gorilla grip.

    Snapping studs sucks.

The front o-ring seals need essentially no torque to seal... you are just securing the housing. Make sure your nylocs are fresh. Use loctite blue as a good fallback.

The rear gasketed housings can always be retorqued if they weep.

So does pulling a steel stud out of a (rather soft) Aluminum casting ;). As you said, no need to go crazy (and the recommended torque for a steel 6mm bolt, or stud, or nut in an all steel situation would be too high for this).

Thanks and perfect timing Steve. I'm removing studs for the rear support right now (diff replacement). I have 3 out of 5. I am being very careful with it.
