Never saw white smoke. No oil in the water. Oil reservoir was a overfilled. I have been adding coolant recently.
good sign, so I think no headgasket also good sign, so again no headgasket because the oilpressure is higher than the water pressure bad sign, water is going into the oil also bad sign that water is going away into the oil because of overfilled oil reservoir I would say leaking water pump - or somewhere a crack in the block or in the heads
This oil seal behind the water pump looked bad. Who knows if the water pump seal was bad. It was kinda brittle, but I destroyed it removing it. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
good to see this damaged seal. so you may be sure 99 % that the water was coming from this seal into the oil. so no worry about more 1 or 2 piece seal? I would take what you have and will match
It looks like you have a bad water pump problem. Did you check the bearing behind the oil seal? Looking at the oil seal, water has been seeping into places it's not supposed to be. I would assume the bearing behind the oil seal is bad. Unless the water pump is assembled correctly, water will seep into the wrong areas, destroying the oil seal, bearing and into the crankcase. A leaking water pump seal dumps fluid onto the ground by way of the weep hole. The ONLY way anti-freeze can be forced towards the oil seal is IF the weep hole is plugged off. Check your weep hole. If it is not plugged off, the coolant is entering the oil at a different location. ‘IF’ the water pump seal is leaking, and ‘IF’ the weep hole is seriously plugged, and ‘IF’ the oil seal is bad, THEN the anti-freeze may get into the oil system. A three ‘IF’ sequence is pretty unlikely.

yeah it looked like it was. I poked a pipe cleaner through it and it took a few thrusts to get it through the top.
It doesn't look bad, but if I have to split the powerpack then I think I'll just leave it there. I think I'll try replacing the seals and pressure test the system. I pressure tested the system when I pulled the pack and it didn't hold pressure very well. Pumped to 10 psi and it didn't hold much. How much psi is the system regularly?
I think the system will go up to 16 psi or 1.1 bar. If the balls in the bearing are anything but shiny sliver or if you see any rust, I would change it. You still have not found the problem. What about the sleeve? Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
If you split the engine from the box you can replace the inner bearing as well, probably the chain tensioner and chain because they stretch. Its not hard to take the engine off the box. Ive also seen those front engine covers leak where they meet the block.
