IMO a V12 in the “FUV” would be a complete waste. In a future where it becomes ever more difficult to hold the V12 in the line-up you should carefully evaluating in which cars you put the big engines into and thus having a negative impact on the whole fleet. It would be a punch in the face of enthusiasts if with the traditional sports cars you only get the turbo hybrid stuff while in a car for a new (non-traditional) customer segment you could get real deal (powertrain wise)!
Depends how you look at it. V12 engines are not really offered in their entry level sports cars. Ferrari has stated that they are determined to keep the v12 around as long as circumstances allow. A v12 will be in the icona line, the 812sf successor and the LA Ferrari successor. If it does appear in the FUV it will be the top tier just like it was in the gtc4lusso. Ferrari offering a v12 would give it a edge over every offering from other manufacturers that offer a ttv8. I am actually looking forward to this.
Tiny rear seats? Have you spent much time in a Lusso? The rear seats are bigger and more comfortable than any other high end 2+2 on sale today. It is the only car that can accommodate two adults for an extended period of time Sent from my iPad using FerrariChat

If ferrari wasted all this time to develop a fuv and only offered the plug in v6. I would be pissed. A v12 is needed to make it a true ferrari suv
Seeing emissions regulations it makes no sense to introduce the V12 in the FUV as well as no competitors doing it but I hope I am wrong however it would also make it the most expensive of all offerings Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
Personally I think the best version of the SUV will be the V6 Hybrid with trans-axle and battery pack in the back it should make for great weight distribution hence perfect handling for a SUV
It could follow the same pattern that the f8 did. Uses the same engine as the upcoming hardcore 812 as the basis while being less raw. However it could very well be midengine
