My driveway is terribly steep, with a bump at the very bottom. My M6 scapes a wee little bit when I back down it...not going up. I've have 'rental' Vettes up there too, and the ZR-1....yikes..only did it ONE time. Shhhhhhh.... If I get a Ferrari, it's gonna have to live someplace else. Unless this Axel Lift would help? Would it? PS - Mike, this car is stunningly gorgeous. GLWtS
Price is great! I’ll post these pics on my IG story tomorrow. Maybe I’ll attract a buyer here in South Florida.
So true , I bought a 458 and the front lift was a “must have” Option for me. Sad to say, but I hardly ever use it ... :/ Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
Yup! I use it almost every time I drive her, living in the NYC metro area, we come across hazzards all the time. Also helps w/ steep driveways, speed bumps, etc.
awesome, good to use an option when necessary. I have a trailer i bought for my old 430, and had a hard time loading the car due to the clearance. Thus the reason i wanted the 458 with a lifter. Unfortunately i haven't had the need to use the trailer this year, obviously, but when i do hopefully the lifter will work. I'm still glad i got the lifter , just not using it much .... in hindsight its still a good option to have ....
I was committed to a lift until I found an awesome car without one. I live in the midwest and never needed one, never scratched the lip. I know some people have different circumstances though. A couple considerations for buyers out there: do you plan to lower the car? I think I would need a lift if that was in the works. Second, consider a scrape guard. Thats a small add on that a dealer can put on there. This car doesnt appear to have one and has mild scratches in the fourth picture down but it's not bad. My car has one installed and it's pristine. Not sure if this helps you Mike! Beautiful car and a good value!
Not right now the guy is struggling if he wants to sell it or not, but I do have an almost identical 458 coupe in black black
