My meager reckoning brings me to strongly consider replacement of the blower regulator 64280200, per Belfry's information. Alas, my service manual has only a "We're getting to that" (sure you are) note in the section that MIGHT cover this part. If it's elsewhere, I can't find it. I see it in the parts diagrams, but it is not clear at all to me where one would dive in to locate it. Help?

I can just get the fingers of my right hand on this part. That's with removing the glove-box, battery, and moved the air-bag out of the way. Does anyone here have a clue how to gain even workable access, or know someone who knows and won't mind saying? TIA.

I can touch this part, and almost the two fasteners with a couple fingers on my right hand, going in through the opening left by removing the glove-box and temp relocation of the pax airbag. I can only touch the bottom of it, barely, in through the opening where the battery normally resides. Anyone know how to at least halfway access this part, or know anyone who does and doesn't mind saying? TIA

Sorry I have no experience on that part so I'm unable to help.

    Thanks for sharing great info.

My 360 has just popped up with the same symptom - blower running constantly. Did this get resolved, and if so how? Troyce?

I haven't resolved it yet, Roger, as I cannot determine how to R&R the blower regulator 64280200 part. The service manual does not include this procedure, and I've not been able to find anyone who's done it, and/or knows how.

My 360 is now doing the same thing! I have removed the AC fuse and the fan stopped.

Did this one ever get resolved?

The master battery switch is in the negative side, not the positive. So turning it off does not shut every thing off. There are some aux neg connections on the battery clamp, on their own small diameter wires

The replacement of the blower regulator - part number 64280200 - resolved the issue for me. I couldn't get to it with my clumsy, giant hands, but my trusty mechanic was able to replace it. It's under the right side dash near the firewall. Parts books online have drawings of it.

I am having this same problem on my 430. I removed the part without much hassle after removing the glove box and airbag. The Mosfets on the regulator circuit board are widely available and are said to be the problem. The regulator itself is an MG/Rover part and is no longer available. Taking the black plastic cover off and razoring out the black caulk will allow the regulator to be opened. I will post some pictures of the MOSFET swap and part numbers for the transistors. The parts cost about a dollar each.

So I pulled the fan regulator and razored out the sealant and took the board out. Picture attached. The two MOSFETS are available at about a dollar. Bought a solder station for about $50 and swapped out the two MOSFETS and all is working well.

The second picture shows one new MOSFET and the old one on board. If anyone needs any more info DM me.

I think most folks here can't view HEIC files. Would you have the part numbers of the MOSFETs?

I think the professional repairers might replace other components, too.

The problem is the professional repairers won't take parts from the us. You're in luck if in EU or UK. In any case, the MOSFET replacement seems to work fine.

Will upload PDFs. Will also give part number for the transistor.
