New Lusso Owner Impressions

    When test driving the V12 and T back to back with the family. They took turn sitting in the back (wife and 2 sons), they said it was roomy but the curvature of the seats was hurting their back and uncomfortable. We are all very short, I am 5'7" and they are all much shorter.
    Otherwise I do love the Lusso, especially the V12. Very fun car to drive.

    The Lusso12 is really interesting....when I’m not driving it I dont have that pull or tug to go out and check on it or fire it up. I spend nights on the web looking to replace it.
    Then I force myself to take it for a spin around the block (country roads) and I cant stop grinning. What a machine! I was @ 83mph in 2nd gear before I knew it, and trip-dig effortlessly anywhere.
    So my Lusso12 experience has me wondering if instead of another 458s, perhaps I need to sample an F12. Why? 600lbs lighter and another ~50BHP over the Lusso, and less sound deadening. It MUST be like a Lusso but with the wick turned up another 50%. Opinions wanted!

    Nah the F12 will be too much for you. Stick with the Lusso.

    Back on track, did another run today in the back country. Just stunning these Ferrari V12’s. Pulls so hard for such a heavy car. Truly impressive.

    Signed docs today to trade the Lusso for another 458 Spider.
    Just didnt warm up to the Lusso enough to justify garage space.
    Could see getting an F12 to TDF.

    Cant go wrong with 458.
    Did u try ff at all? It has more edge and attitude than lusso. For me lusso was too refined.

    I have this same relationship with my M5C. I don’t have any lustful emotion towards the car. Then I’ll be driving it and do a 40-120 pull and think, geez, this thing. Ultimately I respect the car, I appreciate how good it is. But it doesn’t turn me on.

    I think the same but lots of it is due to the cabin insulation: with a proper exhaust and so forth the ff feels different

    Almost went that route but the weight stopped me from investing more. Lots of speed but very hard to stop it.

    Well it is a GT, I just tried to make mine a bit sportier. I have not driven 612 and others 2+2 to see how it compares

    Had one. The sound is much better on the Italia and Spider.
