Congrats, glad you found something close to why you would have speced. I found that braking is very close to the Scuderia. Enjoy
Congratulations, it looks great. All those cars and you couldn't get a Pista - something is really wrong at Ferrari.
The wait and the hunt are themselves pleasure.......but now that you got this beauty enjoy in great health!!
Sterling, VA. Check out Facebook or Instagram for Glaswerks DMV Last one before the shutdown we had about 250 or so exotics. Bigger than Katies. Shooting for either the 3rd or 4th Sunday in June.
Really good story of persistence and that you got a 2020 at below msrp is really great, it's a great looking spec. Congrats on that search.
Congrats Larry! You will love it more every time you drive it. I have had mine for just over a year and I still have that “excited like it’s new” feeling every time I get behind the wheel. Wait until you get a chance to drive it in anger, especially on a track. Wow.
that was my thought ... I have had 3 or 4 Ferrari s for the last 6 or 8 years . and many were ordered from my dealer .. I absolutely would have gotten it if my old salesman was still there he knew I was able to perform but would not play the game .. I think i have had maybe 12 Ferrari's in the last 10 or 11 years .. but thats ok I do not really care if i am first ... It all works out in the end....
Thanks everyone for the nice comments .. I never did understand why my dealer didn't give an allocation but it seemed like they should have but it is what it is.. I will have to admit I enjoy the hunt and by taking so long to get a Pista it probably saved me from buying something else at some point .. ...
sure the MSRP was $449900...based on my search it is not real high but was wisely chosen option wise..... there are many with list prices well over 480 and even over 500.
I think you are right about the tunnels of course that is where my Scuderia really excells.... .. not sure if I will change the exhaust but maybe .. for now I will get a remote valve opener like someone suggested have Capristo remotes on several of my cars and they work great....
I bet the Scud is a riot in tunnels. the 812 sure is, and the 458 was as well. I too like the Capristo remotes. Haven't done one on the Pista yet as not sure which exhaust will end up on it.
IN A TUNNEL the Scud is king for sure I have had an F12 and others but the Scud is a blast in a tunnel and just about everywhere else for that matter
