    I read posts about the Bosch unit used by Ferrari 360 is the same unit used by GM. The GM unit is way cheaper and easier to find. Except I can't find it. Anyone provide some input? If you feel that my information is wrong, please advise.

    There are a ton of threads on this subject. Long story short, most people that try the GM unit are unsuccessful.

    YMMV, but it didn't work on my car

    As it comes, the GM unit will stop the flashing LED, but will not emit sound correctly.
    Now, you can open it make the required change to that of the 360 and voila it then behaves as it should.

    So your choices are;
    1. Buy the Ferrari unit
    2. Buy the GM unit and live with no sound
    3. Buy the GM unit and modify it or have someone do it for you.
