Back in the 90's and early 2000's Tubi seem to dominate But there so many options now its getting crowded and difficult to assess whats the best ones

Without question for the Testarossa it’s kreissieg and it’s not even close. Ppl love capristo but that’s because they never heard a kreissieg live: it’s an old f1 sound.

I imagine Tubi and Capristo would still be the kings of the circuit....

F355 on Tubi sounds better than one with a Capristo.

i think it all depends on where you live.....i am more than happy with a Capristo....but of course.....a crazy Fi Exhaust or a Novitec etc would sound brilliant...if you can live with huge fines and people throwing rocks at you....:D

Finding the right balance is tough everyone has a difference tolerance on how loud
But to me I like a raspy sound with a high pitch when the revs reach crescendo

You really need to define the engine, brand X sounds incredible on some specific engines but not on others.

Once you define the car/engine you will get a more clear answer.

Kreissieg for a Testarossa (hands down, nothing is close to sounding so good for that flat 12 engine)

Capristo for F355 (Tubi and others not even close to the sound Capristo makes for that 5 valve v8)

What would be your take on an appropriate exhaust for an 812 ?

Another BIG factor is removing the catalytic converter and replacing it with a straight pipe, this may increase performance but can lead to low-frequency droning sounds at certain RPMs.

I'd start searching youtube for different combinations of exhaust setups, the full Novitec exhaust is pretty expensive (and yes, it sounds incredible), this Capristo setup with the remote-controlled vales sounds really good:

The dealer can reject a warranty claim if the car is taken in with this set up

    YUP.
Novitecs R the best in my opinion 4 newer Ferraris, eventhough I generally don't prefer installing aftermarket exhausts on my cars.
Nothing sounds like what a car originally came with I guess ( maybe with some exceptions):)
Some aftermarket manufacturers, make it sooo loud, to the level that it is just disturbing to hear.

I upgraded the cat on my FF to 200cel. Ferrari will reject anything different than what it can’t up with anyways so if that’s a concern don’t do it.

I was at a SoCal meetup and one guy told me his Novitec 812 exhaust with installation was $30k, does that sound right?

Yes, they can, talk to your dealer because there are some dealers that don't care, they will still cover the warranty (the factory reimburses them for the costs so some don't care who pays them). It will depend on how well you know them, I have had things covered out of warranty.

Am looking at a Novitec exhaust for the Pista, and am between the Inconel valved exhaust and the non-valved X pipe design. For the 812 I am considering the valved exhaust and X pipe. Kline has been a consideration as well. Ferrari and Tubi always seemed a good marriage on the older cars, though the Kreissegs are amazing on Testarossa or Countach era cars.

Could someone please list all of the known replacement exhaust systems available for my 2003 575M? I know about Tubi and Fabio’s from Italy. Any others?
    Thanks, Leonard Riggs
