Another Euro QV to the list. 56063 now on BaT. Identical twin to mine (before restoration)....
I noticed that last night. Was wondering what dealer had it for sale. It's only about an hour and a half away from me.
This one 59001 won Platinum award without the original wheels? https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1985-ferrari-308-gtsi-quattrovalvole-14/ Image Unavailable, Please Login
Mike I remembered the seller said it has another set of original wheels come with the car. Those Mistrals for driving I think. Car didn't sell on BAT couple of weeks ago.
Thomas, it is harder and harder to get a new one but here it is: https://www.centralclassiccars.com/vehicles/183/1985-ferrari-308-gtsi
There is an Euro QV for sale here, but I don't see the VIN, if someone knows the car, that could be one more.... https://oooldtimercars.com/1985-Ferrari-308-GTBi-Quattrovalvole/13413?utm_source=Lifull-connect&utm_medium=referrer
This is impossible If this war was for real, it would offered in the condition as the photos show for well over $100K
First of 2021? #48635 for sale: https://www.motorcargallery.com/cars/423/1985-ferrari-308-gtb-quattrovalvole
That's a 1984, not 1985. My Euro QV 52703 was one of the very last 1984s built, this 48635 is a few months older in the 1984 production. Cheers, Gordon
My 84 is 48969 and I believe it was made in October/November of 83. I’ll have to look and report back, but it originally sold December 14, 1983. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
So Thomas, #48969 was not on the listing, one more! 48969, do you have the body number by chance? I don't have much over that period, that help to understand the production.
I’ll get it when I check my door plate for the build date. I didn’t make it to the shop today, but should be there Tuesday. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
My Euro QV is 52789 - it's been registered as an '85 but have often wondered if it's technically an '84? I believe the build date is 9/84. I know there have been some other threads on this but, at the time, did Ferrari technically not have model years per se?
The model year started at the beginning of the 80s in Europe, after the United States and it was only purely legislative, it did not impact at all the production, especially at Ferrari SpA, which improved its cars as and measure, not on an annual schedule. So 52789 is a car registered as an 85 model year car but is indeed a July 84 car. It does not change anything, the 2 years are identical on the Euro QV (except for some small changes at the beginning of 84 on the injectors and the double belt of accessory).
My vin 53415 euro was brought in to the states on Oct 29th 1984. I can’t tell when it was manufactured. So far I can’t find which country it was from, the mileage on the car and where it came into United States. All the owners I have found have been in north Texas. Where the euro cars brought in by individuals? Where they brand new or did they have to be used with miles on then? Does anyone knows how to obtain any of this information? And the tag inside the door says 1/85 but I think that’s when it was imported into the US in FL then a few months later to CA.
