3387 restored without gearbox gate which must have been as it was at Sebring, 1962. Also driven with no top to the dashboard, also as it was at Sebring. Passenger seat doesn't look like it has a battery underneath it. Gearbox tunnel looks like the one on 3223 at the press conference.

It's definitely 3765LM. There has been much discussion on FerrariChat about it.

    3387.

Looks like the battery has actually been moved from the engine bay along with a number of other changes.

    GTO Body Repairs in Period.

I spoke to David Piper and asked him who did the repairs to the GTOs in period. Minor repairs in the UK would have been done by people like Mo Gome, but when I asked about major repairs he replied that Piero Drogo and Scaglietti would carry out the work. He said it was actually cheaper to get the work done by them by trailering the wrecked car down to Italy than to get it done in the UK.

I forgot to say that David said that some of the body parts needed for a major repair would only be available from Italy.

These pictures have Pirelli Cinturato CN72 tyres on it.

The 205VR15 we normally have came out in 1972 and would be the tyre we would recomend for the rear. Sadly they don't make a 185VR15 CN72, but they do make a CA67, which is actually more relavent to a 1960s car.

    https://www.longstonetyres.co.uk/classic-car-tyres/ferrari/250-gto.html

However Pirelli have recently made some special GTO tyres. 600L15 & 700L15 Stelvio.

Marcel, I visited Steve Griswold's in 1984 on the way to the Ferrari Club meeting that August in Monterey. By chance do you have any photographs of Griswold's at that time? If memory serves me, among other projects, they had a GTO in the shop then, for which they were making a new body? Vague recollection and I did not wish to ask to take photos during the visit. Thanks, Chris
