All these are fair answers. I think it's all preference. Especially if you own one, you tend to be biased toward it.

TDF est une interprétation moderne de 250 GTO

I think it was technically the modern interpretation of the 250 SWB or something. And if that is the case, then it would be fair to assume the 599 GTO is the modern interpretation of the 250 GTO (at least as far as styling is concerned - compare the 599 frontend to the 250 GTO's).

Tout a fait d accord. Each time I see a tdf and to some extent an F12 it reminds me of the 250 series

Design s inspiration of the F 12 was 275, but when i m looking in details the TDF s rear, i see the 250 GTO inspiration. Fantastic !!!

You are right about the 275/F12 comparison. Tdf i personally dont think we will see another hardcore masterpiece tribute to the glorious past of F racing anytime soon.. my own personal opinion

i cldnt get corvette out of my mind when i looked at my TDF.

288 looks like a 308/328 to almost everyone outside of enthusiats. the f40 is unmistakeable, even if you hate it.

I personally think the Tdf is flawless design. The perfect car in everyday. I see design flaws in the 599 and the 812. But just my opinion. Glad to own one of each though.

I would be interested to hear your opinion as to which one is a better driver... if you had to pick one.

I know the photographer of this picture and talked to him regularly. I posted the back story to this photo last year and it was pretty cool the way he described it as it was all just pure chance. btw when I first saw this picture I thought it was an official Ferrari photo it was that amazing.

    Tdf - no question.

The GTO is really a beast too but more of a Dr. Jeykll/Mr. Hyde kind of car with regards to the engine and single plate clutch gear box and the 812 while fast is sterile by comparison. The Tdf just lights its set on fire when pushed.

I'll second that. I've never driven another car that so easily/willingly fully lights them even in triple digit speed.
