Image Unavailable, Please Login I noticed today that my front bumper has dropped slightly on one corner.

does anyone know how to fix this? I wondered if I could get to a fixing point via the panel in front of the wheel?

On the parts diagram it looked like just two mounts each side?

Get to the mounting nuts from inside the front trunk. Have someone hold up the bumper while you tighten down the nuts. Repeat for the mounting brackets at the wheel well in front of the wheels.

I have found two nuts on each side behind the front grill. There seems to be room to adjust the bumper on a horizontal plane but not a vertical plane. I will remove the grill and loosen these nuts to sw if this helps. I couldn't get to them via the frunk.

Does anyone know how best to reach the side bracket please?

Ok, I've just fixed it. The grill (3 Philips head screws) needs to come off. On each side are 3 mounting bolts for the front of the bumper. Loosen them, lift the bumper back up and re-tighten the 3 nuts. Replace the grill.

The side mounting bracket does makes less difference but can be reached through the access panel just in front of the front tyre.

I couldn't reach the bolts from the front trunk on my car.

Harbor Freight jack, wooden block and some gorilla tape should do the trick. No need to thank me.

The gap has now been fixed.

But the act of raising the bumper with a jack while adjusting has left my front suspension looking too high. I've been for a drive and it's only got slightly better. I just had to wait for the suspension to settle, or is there something that I need to do to help it along?

Glad you discovered the adjustment bolts. The suspension will settle, might need to do some decent speed on a bumpy road to loosen things up. The bushings can turn and set when a car is raised.
