Hi, we are in the process of relocating back (after 25 years away) to Columbia SC from coastal NC. We have a detached garage starting to be built but I was wondering if anyone knows of possible temporary storage for my 2 toys for several months? With hurricane season here once again I'm ready for them to be relocated to eliminate the stress.
    Thank you,
    Steve

Welcome back to Cola Steve. I’m not aware of car specific storage businesses but as you could imagine there are mini storage places all over Columbia. I live in NE Columbia and have a friend who owns a secure mini storage business that I can refer you to if that would suffice. What side of town will you be returning to?

Thank you. There are many reasons for us to come 'home' again. We will be in Cayce just over the Blossom St. bridge. The thought of self storage has crossed my mind, but I have not really looked into it and need it to be climate controlled. If no other options appear I will certainly investigate.

Greenville or Charleston would be the best bet for a “car storage” facility.

    J. David Scott may be able to help you. He has a garage and office just over the bridge. If he doesn't have space, he may
know of someone that does. Here on f-chat as Juan-Manuel Fantango.

Hey Dincenzo! Actually he needs climate controlled, I was thinking Danny Burnstein might know, or have some.

Forgot about Danny. I knew that you would think of someone. Too bad our friend C.C. is no longer with us. I'm sure that he would have found space in the Canada Collection.:)

Thank you all for the input. I have sent David a PM and may also have another option (not climate controlled) which I will take if necessary.
