If you like the color combination I think it is a great car. It is a well known dealership and they offer the car with warranty.

That would be a little high in the US but you wouldn't see the warranty; And, I don't know your market. Looks like a nice car. I don't care for black but if it is what you want go with it.

I hope you are keeping your 412!

I had one as a daily driver for many years. Lovely cars as well.

    Hi

    What's important for you ?
    Milage ?
    Color ?
I think there are better offers here in Europe.

    No Carbon Ceramic brakes !
    positive for service costs
But imo, CC brakes are a must at the 599.

Check the UK market for left hand drive there are a few available and you can really do a great deal with them where they will throw in Ferrari Warranty etc. and it will work out much cheaper. I picked up a 2009 LHD with 10K miles on it for £85k with Ferrari warranty and a 12,500k Service next year for free, as most LHD cars in the Uk take a long time to sell and as they were taken in as part exchange the dealers will do a deal just to get it out and get there money back.

Good luck with your search and its not just a great car its a beautiful car.

I agree the CC are better for resale but I never understood why. Steel rotors are less expensive and make zero difference in stopping your car under normal driving, the majority of serious track guys I know take off their CC rotors and replace them with steel rotors. Yes the low brake dust with a CC setup is pretty nice.

The track guys take of the CC and use steel because of cost, not because it is just as good. There is a huge difference in peddle feel and stopping power, particularly on a car this heavy.

Affirmative, even though most could afford a formula car much more suited to the track.

I respectfully disagree, there is no material difference in stopping power between CC and steel rotors, your tires are the limiting factor in stopping distance not the rotors and pads (assuming you have proper cooling of your rotors). In fact most complaints about CC brakes are that they feel “spongy” when they are cold. In my opinion the three advantages (non track use) are unsprung weight, service life (100,000 miles +) and low brake dust (and they also look really cool).

I do completely agree that a main factor that people swap CC brakes out on the track is for cost but there are other factors, weighing the rotors In order to tell how much they are worn is a pain, damaging a CC rotor when swapping wheels and tires is a real possibility, an off track with a pebble between a CC rotor and the pad is really bad news etc.

Lots of guys that can afford CC brakes swap them out for steel and choose to spend money on engine upgrades and data acquisition, roll cages, tires etc instead of CC brakes that will not materially improve your lap times unless you are running an F1 team.

    YMMV.

I thought the main advantage of CC brakes on the track was they ran significantly cooler, and heat causes brake fade.

That said, anyone running hard enough on the street to overheat any modern disk brakes is either headed for jail or a dirt nap.

Hi Philippe, why don’t you look for all replies to your questions and ask is the car worth in a french website like Ferrarista ?

This seems a high price to me - it takes into account the price rebound of 2015-2016 but not the following adjustment of more recent years (a downward trend that is likely to be confirmed in the current economy).
In 2013 I sold my 2007 599 with optional CC brakes (with almost new rotors because I changed them at about 30,000 km) for EUR 95,000; for current pricing in Europe mobile.de typically presents a good sample of cars.
... and there is no doubt the CC brakes are better, even more so on the 599 because the original steel discs are smaller than the CC brakes (which is not the case on Porsche GT3 that people often mention to have the steel discs preferred for track use).
