    Hey guys,

Looking to get a set of Nitron R1 coilovers for my 2.7 F355. Had a couple questions:

    • What is the best method to remove the dash error for the factory adjustable dampening?
    • Are there recommended spring rates I should choose for the coilovers (the nice thing with Nitron is you can specify spring rates)
    • Does anyone have any additional feedback?

This will be purely driven on the street. I was initially considering multi-adjustable dampers, but it appears to be overkill.

    Thanks in advance!

Just curious, whats the issue with rebuilding stock coil-overs for street use? I am all for it btw just looking to understand drivers for upgrading suspension to then remain on the street. Maybe I need to update mine.

Looking to go lower than stock will permit. To your point, the factory dampers are old anyway.

Stock goes 1 inch lower, with HR lowering springs you can go 1 inch more, so you can go 2" lower.
Sounds like just to have newer dampers, and maybe go 2" lower, sounds good!

    OEM rates.

MCS (former Mouton owners)has my F355 in their shop in Alpharetta Georgia this and next week. They are developing coil overs as we speak. been waiting for CV to blow over, and Georgia is back to work. Should be done by end of next week. I'm going for their 2 way damping without an external reservoir. They are going to be doing the springs as well.

This I can not tell you. I gave MCS use of my car as a test mule for development and we have worked out an arrangement. I'm not sure what the retail will be when they're released, but you can check their website pricing for their 2WNR coilovers for other vehicles. https://motioncontrolsuspension.com/applications-pricing/

Ended up going with Nitron R1s and factory spring rates. Will report back on my thoughts.
