Yup. Eggsackly. My favourite plot o'ground each year tenting was down by the exit of the west horseshoe. (wonderful restrooms nearby). There's a photo I'll try to find, 'bad gas year, of Gregg's winning CSL and a background motorhome (that could have been out of a Cheech and Chong movie ) who's occupants were quite sharing. Loved the CSL's wail and the mili-second split gearshift when they were climbing up on the banking whilst drafting each. 'Always turned their best lap times when so doing on that 2 3/8ish mile "straightaway" 'Was hittin' all Florida Camel GT races every year back then. Obviously, my fav series. All three tracks have character and elevation changes. Indy has neither but the amenities and lodging are first rate.
Precisely why I sarcastically posted... .....I can get the ammenities in my own "back yard", or, just about anywhere, any day of the year. 'Can't say the same about 5 star circuits. (as in the course itself.)
