I honestly don't mind women in F1 cars.

Hey, if they pass all the requirements of a superlicense in F1, what's the difference...except their anatomy.

Zero problem with it. I follow some of the lady racing drivers on social media. BUT. And it's a big BUT, those that are making a name for themselves in the single seaters seems to still be missing that final piece to get to F1. Jamie Chadwick for example, dominated the W series season, and did Asian F3 after that....she managed to finish 4th (not bad at all), but the talent she was up against...wasn't exactly the highest either. Though she did beat Pietro Fitipaldi.

I don't know if it's a physical thing or simply lack of time in single seaters for women. We see in closed cockpit cars women being quite easily more successful than single seaters. Easier access to closed cockpit or is it physical?

The more we have women interested in motorsport (and not just a few ones) in different categories, and racing for a number of years, the more we will have a poll of talents.
There are a few token women, from time to time, and the spotlight is unfairly turned on them.
You need a lot of women participants at the bottom of the pyramid if you just want one to reach the top after spending years going through the feeder series (kart, F4, F3, F2, etc...).
At the moment, we don't have that number, so no woman is emerging at the top.

If Toto couldn't get Suzie in a seat then it ain't gonna happen, unless one of those Canadian Billionaires produces the latest 'wondergirl' to drive alongside Stroll/Latifi

Yeah, and best thing, they don’t need to park the cars themselves in F1!

You can buy many things, but not talent.
Suzie wasn't an outstanding driver like Désiré Wilson was, or Cathy Muller who won races in lower categories.
I know people like to slag off Danica Patrick for her outbursts, but she knew how to drive, and put cars on pole.

I despise these misguided attempts to ‘find’ the next great white hope based on the need for inclusiveness. Better to beat the bushes and give paunchy old goats and quiet kids from the boonies a fair shot based on their success with backyard built Chevys and Fords..

Same chauvinists here, same racists in P & R, how predictable but mediocrity, bigotry and ignorance always are.

A friend of mine has his daughter racing at a high level, she is doing very well, I have communicated with her a bit, loved her spirit, intelligence and drive, she is worth a billion fat stupid rednecks on their couch.

That would be interesting. Given the exact same car, talent, and physicality, a woman might have the advantage. Imagine a 5'4" tall 105 lb driver vs a 5'9" 155 lb driver. In racing every ounce counts, so a 50 lb advantage?

Depends on the series. I think NASCAR the driver weight is not included for minimum weight requirements, but in F1 it is (last time I checked). So for Danica Patrick it made a difference in NASCAR. Even in F1 it would help as they could lower the center of gravity with 50lb ballast lower down.

Edit: more info on that I'm sure rules have changed constantly since. https://www.espn.com/racing/nascar/cup/story/_/id/8967000/daytona-500-danica-patrick-body-weight-not-plus-driver-seat

I think it would be great. But racing in F1 is hard for anyone who isn't gifted by God; I'd hate to see all the women become back markers, that wouldn't be a good look.

Lack of seat time. There are a lot of very good women fighter pilots out there, and I am pretty sure fighter jets are physically demanding things to fly.
