Wow, I am not crazy about white on Ferrari, but this matte gives the car a whole other look while still in white. It looks incredible.

Looks deep eye catching for white....has a iradesiant glow to it. I bought my 488 from Ft. Lauderdale Ferrari. I dealt with John Levy...very easy process there.

    Be careful.
    Not a factory paint?
They can be difficult to paint/repair.
Older ones would show a fingerprint which was difficult to remove.
They can look gorgeous as this one does.

I have this same paint on my 2013. It is absolutely beautiful.
When I got the car, I had my car detail and paint correction guy, clean the paint really well, then we had Xpel matte film applied to the entire car. Now it is stunning and easy to care for.
That is what I would recommend.

You can clean the car with matte paint car wash as well as matte paint spray. Chemical guys makes a lot of this stuff.

It is a beautiful color! One item to note as I was looking at the pictures - The binnacle cover has the leather pulling up on BOTH corners. IF you are intersted in the car, I woudl seriously consider looking it over to see if there is other leather shrinkage on the interior.

I know nothing about the paint but it does look sweet . Black roof, all the carbon , usually not a fan of black rims but the whole scheme works on this car. Low miles , high msrp this pick has got to be on top of your list.

    Good luck

Huh???? This is a factory paint option.

Can you upload a few pics of yours? :)

I was curious about how you could apply clear-bra to a matte car. I would not wash it myself. I live less than 10 mins from Scottsdale Ferrari and there are more than a handful of high-end detail shops who could wash it for me. ;) We have hard water in AZ and I can pay someone to take care of that part of it for me. ;)

I talked to one of the managers at FoS and he said it is a nightmare to take care of because the paint can stain if anything gets on it. He recommends clients do not choose the matte finishes any time they spec it out.

Beautiful car but you missed the OPACO part of my title. ;)

Holy crap you are right! WTF? On a 2k miles car????? Hmmm......scary....the driver seat looks pretty crappy for a 2k miles car too.....I think I have changed my mind on this one.

I did see it. If you listen to the video right at 0:15 or 0:16 seconds, you can hear the guy utter the word "Matte" - so it's possible that it is Opaco.

I'm not totally sure, but check out the video.

    I did. LoL

It looks way too glossy to be matte; ;)

I would love to find a 458 in regular Bianco Fuji! :D

Yeah, it's kinda hard to tell under those lights.

I was up north a few years ago (Stanford Mall maybe?) and while walking back to the car I saw a lone Ferrari parked across the lot. I walked over to check it out and it was done in a beautiful Grigio Ingrid Opaco color. Absolutely gorgeous.

As far as the 458, myself, I prefer metallic colors. Not only do they help hide slight imperfections, but they also show off the beautiful lines of the 458. Originally I was going to get a white 458, but after seeing Nero Daytona in person, I started to widen up my possible color choices. In the end, after comparing Nero to Nero Daytona to Grigio Silverstone, there was no contest - Grigio Silverstone won hands down.

If you are shopping, definitely take the time to see all the colors in person and also both inside the showroom as well as outside in direct sunlight.

    355 to 458 - that's quite a jump :) I think you'll enjoy having a Ferrari that doesn't fall apart when you drive it haha :-D

I am in no hurry to buy a FCar.....I will wait patiently and hunt.

Also considering this if I could get it for a lot less than asking (LoL.)

It is consignment of a client who has a ROMA coming in in Sept--I don't think they are gonna make much of a deal on it since it is now summer and they just listed it last week. Saw it yesterday and the car is flawless and a local 2-owner, the 2nd owner just bought it in Feb 2020......I'd be a player at $200k but that is dreaming probably. I am gonna go look at it again today. :)

This is the other one I am looking at buying--same color combo as my F355 Spider I sold 8 years ago. I put 13,000 miles on my 355 and she never left me stranded or broken. I spent the money at the beginning to sort her and she was solid after!

I have requested some high-res photos of the seats (I care about bolster wear more than almost anything as I want a car someone took care of and didn't abuse), so hopefully those will get here this week as the car is currently getting an annual at FoSV.

So yeah....I am hoping to end up with a Cali or 458 Spider soon! IF I could find a perfect specimen I would be happy with either!

That spider is really nice looking.

I'm not sure what the market for 458 Spiders is, but $220K seems crazy high to me. Maybe I'm out of the loop, but I would research something like Ferrari Market Letter and see what recent transaction prices are. Asking and selling prices are often vastly different things.

Anyway, good luck on finding a car. The 458 is one of the best Ferraris in a long, long time. It's worth taking your time to find just the right car with all the options you want. Make sure to get a rear backup camera! :) That's the most helpful of all the options on that car, by a long shot.

Price is on the money for high spec 458 spider.
    Maybe a little to negotiate.

    Likely wrapped already.

Maybe someone can tell me but not very matte finish for opaco designation. Can we see the paint sticker?

very nice 458. Worth a look. Don’t be scared by bolster wear.

    Carbon galore.....

Interesting unless I missed something, all that useless carbon fiber and other stuff and no power seats. I would not buy that car, but I am odd, and I do not like matte paint on any car.
