Anyone replaced the mirror glass in the rear view mirror? Mines getting a little ‘tarnished’ around the edges.

Just ordered a new one for my 430 from Scuderia Car Parts for $65. Seems to be a normal wear item.

Just got the mirror from Algar. Cost....$30.92. How/why? Must be the cheapest F part other than crush washers. And yes..it came in a box with a horsey on it.

Also got my 360 oil change kit..they're on sale for $37.95

Sorry you just missed it. But thinking about it, postage to the UK, VAT And then repairing it, you get a new one from Scuderia for about $65.

Will this fix a wobbly mirror? I’ve tried tightening the screw on mine, but it still vibrates/wobbles. Thx!

It may....or may not. Mine did not wobble at all. If you’ve tightened the small screw at the back with no luck, it’s probably the slot that you slide the mirror on.

You could probably tell if it’s the slot, by simply moving the mirror assembly and seeing where the wobble originates.

There seems to be only two places that would cause a wobble. A worn slot that connects the mirror assembly to the windshield or the screw that you’ve already tightened.

If it’s not the slot, then my mirror would fix the problem.
