Never used any polish/sealant in nearly 5 years of ownership, just a gentle wash/rinse once per year. Maybe it's a leftover from the previous owner.
Took the first picture the day I collected the car in Canberra and the second a few years ago at a winery in the Yarra Valley, Victoria. Is there a better looking modern Ferrari GT? Not in my opinion.. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Beautiful car. I’m a fan of the f12 as my favorite modern 12. But I’ll put the 575/550 next ahead of the 599. Robb
Robb- That is funny because I prefer the 599 and 812 to the F12, except for the beautiful TDFs. Good things tastes are different or we would all be driving refrigerator white Toyotas.
One of these unforgettable days. Grimsel is one of the most beautiful passes, driven from west to north. A real dream to drive it with a nice car. Daniel
I do not like to criticize a person's favorite collector car/new toy. The new F cars have not been nice looking for quite a while. The 456/550/575 series is such a clean design.
That’s a lovely backdrop you found for yourself! Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
Grimsel does look fantastic.. I’m going to take the 550 up the Grossglockner next week for a repeat of this trip I did last weekend in my 328. Can’t wait to see how the Maranello handles the altitude. The 328 wasn’t a happy camper at all. Image Unavailable, Please Login Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
Engine control software in the ECU should take the data from the mass air flow sensors and adjust the fuel injection to maintain fuel/air ration as the air thins out at altitude. Should be good enough that you can hardly notice. Perhaps a slight hint of a lower engine power but subtle. I'd be interested in hearing your impression.
Thanks for the comments! I’m sure the 10 years of development would have been a positive improvement on the cars breathing abilities. Course we’re speaking about completely different cars too. Will happily share the results. Hope to get a weather window this weekend. Here you can here my little engine that could..(not) Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
