Hello. Your old 365 gt4 is for sale in LA and I am interested. What major work did you do? Did you change the clutch? I know you got the transmission shifting.
    Do you mind talking?

Yes there is. It is sitting in my driveway right now. The owner was such a novice that he drove the car until there is nothing left of the clutch and it no longer goes. I removed the clutch this morning and it is about 3mm thick. So, yes there is a way to have it worn down to nothing.

I can tell you that when I first got my E-Type running it got to the point where it would ONLY go on a flat surface. I was unable to get out of my driveway as it had a 64 inch rise to get to the street. Combo of throwout bearing and disk wear. Yes that is wear on the brass rivet but that is also wear on the rivet holding the arm to the hub of the disc, NOT just flash from the camera.
