Today, after almost twenty years going to Ricambi's site and clicking "Car Diagrams" then "Select Make' then "Select Model" then "Select Type" then "Select Sub Type" to finally get to the car diagram I want, I had an epiphany moment.

I have the sites I use a lot bookmarked for easy access and Ricambi is one of them. That bookmark sends me to Ricambi's home page and the clicking starts............sigh.

I just bookmarked the 550 Maranello page so now when I click on my Ricambi bookmark it takes me directly to the 550 Maranello page.............no more extra clicking

Who says old guys can't learn something new occasionally :)

One of these days we 550 guys should get together. Vegas? somewhere? Maybe pressure john to get his 550 finished and on the road and then meet him somewhere.

That would be fun, FBB! John's car would be badged 600.

I've only been to California twice. The water at the beaches was so cold!

Yes too soon and too hot! Maybe wintertime up until spring. Then barry and I can do some laps at spring mountain. Dave races, he might join in too. I have raced 27 tracks in the US but never even had a lap at spring mountain only a few hours away...go figure.

Not sure if it is just me, but Ricambi took those diagrams offline. Quite curious as to why. The few parts I have bought for my 550 I have bought from Ricambi so as to kinda give them an atta-boy for that resource. Anyone know why those disappeared? Very valuable, and miss them already!

In summary, all independent stockists have been requested to remove the Ferrari parts diagrams from their websites (or face the con$equence$). There are a few independents who still have them on display (Eurospares, Scuderia Car Parts, Algar, etc)

Reminds me of the extremely rude and terse cease and desist email we got from Lockheed's lawyers when we registered <Maranello_Skunkworks.com> as a domain name.

They don't fool around at all, not even a little bit.

No lawyer here but just wondering.......
As I recall if one fails to complain about a property line encroachment for, I think it was seven years, you essentially gave up rights to that property.

Wonder if the same principle would apply to intellectual property?

You Can Lose Your IP Rights if Not Enforced
If you don't take adequate or sufficient, reasonable means to protect and enforce your IP, then you run the risk of losing your IP rights. What is sufficient and reasonable action is not always clear; it depends on the situation. But, suffice it to say, if you know someone is using your IP without your authorization, you should promptly look into it to determine what, if anything, should and needs to be done so that you don't lose one of your most important business assets – your valuable intellectual property.

Seems from this that Daniel and others might have some avenue of redress here
