I am trying to change my oem radio /cd on my 2008 430. I have the release slot on the right hand side but nothing on the left hand side. The facia has a small section on the left hand side so i assume the volumn knob has to be removed and this section of the facia removed to access the release slot.
Anyone know how to get to this release slot ?

Go to 3:00 minutes into video. As 24000rpm posted, slide Ferrari logo to right. Left knob panel can be removed

I just went thru this. You will need to push the tools in fairly hard to get the radio to release. It will pop out slightly, then you can pull it out.
My tools were stuck in the radio and I had to us a small screwdriver to release the latch, then I was able to reinstall the radio.
PM me if you need to.

push from behind is easier. And will not damage the plastic in the front

Once we had the tools in, it came out easy. The Alpine unit we fitted as replacement was an easy fit, only needed an aerial adaptor and no need to cut or modify any wires. Plug and play .

Which Alpine model did you install? I plan on replacing my Becker too. Thanks.
