Yep that was a very dodgy Auction. My bids on the 512 was not accepting at one stage. The countdown timer keep increasing even with no bids in place.

 

Were you watching the live feed?
They spent quite a bit of time on the 512 how did you go?
Were you the underbidder?
Can I ask anymore questions? ...

I'm a bit interested in their Monday auction.

 

I had the highest bid. $190k and when it ended it said I was outbidded but it was still 190k final price. I knew it had not met reserve. But the auction itself had me questioning some bids. The was definitely shill bids in the auction.

 

What a bunch of Shysters Steve...I saw the winning bid at 190K Closed...So they didn’t contact you on the supposed winning bid?...

I got 2 emails one saying I has the winning bid and then another after the auctioned closed saying I was outbidded. I then received a third email about 5 mins later which is automated stating I can make an out of auction offer. I have placed a formal complaint about the poor performance of there auction site and to explain how I have the winning bid and it closes to get and non winning bid afterwards. The countdown was constantly jumping around without any bids.

 

They are a bunch of crooks Steve..I used to sling the auctioneers cash on pieces I wanted and the deal was done...The piece was still auctioned in the normal way always regardless...

 

I did ask before,were you watching the live feed as I did.
You may possibly have had a better chance if you did phone bidding.

 

I was on the live feed as well. If a phone bidder got in on the last second somehow it should go closed at 195k. Well I tried at least I'm sure it will pop up again
